Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing process where a thermoplastic filament is melted and deposited layer-by-layer to build the final 3D object.
Your 3D file is imported into slicing software that converts it into horizontal layers and generates the toolpath (G-code) for the printer.
The thermoplastic filament is fed into a heated extruder (180–260°C depending on material), where it melts into a semi-liquid state.
The extruder nozzle moves precisely along the X and Y axes, depositing the molten material onto the build plate in the exact pattern defined by the toolpath.
Each extruded layer instantly cools and bonds to the layer below it, forming strong inter-layer adhesion as the build progresses upward.
After printing, any support structures used for overhanging geometry are removed manually or dissolved (for soluble support materials).
The finished part goes through our quality inspection process and is professionally packaged for delivery to your doorstep across India.
We stock a wide range of engineering-grade thermoplastic filaments to match every application — from budget prototypes to high-temperature structural parts.
FDM is the go-to technology for industries that need functional, fast, and cost-effective 3D printed parts — from startups to Fortune 500s.
